About Dennis
Dennis Matthews, MS, is a native to Spokane and attended schools within the Spokane Public School district. Currently, Dennis is a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TOD) in Spokane Public Schools where he attended as a youth. Altogether, he has taught for 18 years everything from elementary school to College. For 12 years after graduating from Gallaudet, he lived in the Southwestern part of United States and worked primarily as a Deaf Advocate and TOD. For the last 13 years, he has been back home in Spokane and obtained a masters in Deaf Education, also this is where he met his wife, Shiree. Now they are both raising two beautiful princesses. When he is not teaching, they enjoy being together as a family. They are making many memories as a family and like to travel to many different places.
