About Kali
Hi! My name is Kali Doubledee, and I am the only Deaf person in my hearing family. I am originally from Maryland, where I attended a deaf school growing up. I am a recent graduate from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Counseling, and the majority of my work is orientated around art therapy and mental health counseling. Throughout my graduate program, I have been a big self-advocate regarding interpreting services for my accessibility needs as a student and professional. My final capstone project largely focused on my experience working with interpreters while serving the hearing population in art therapy settings. Outside my time of advocating and working, I savor the beauty of PNW nature as much as I can by hiking, paddleboarding, and hammocking. Another thing I enjoy, as an artist, is creating art to connect with self and the community.
