About Taralynn
Dr. Taralynn Petrites, originally from California, lived in New York and Arizona before settling in Washington in 2018. She now works as a Professor and Coordinator of Deaf and Sign Language Studies and the American Sign Language programs at Central Washington University. In the last 27 years, Dr. Petrites has been working with undergraduate and graduate students in American Sign Language and interpreter training-related fields. Dr. Petrites likes to spend her free time traveling with her family worldwide and unwinding on her farm, where alpacas, dogs, cats, and chickens surround her.
